James W. Fischer is a dedicated associate at Hunter Law Group, PC, with a practice concentrated in product liability, transportation litigation, premises liability, and complex business litigation. 

James has substantial experience defending clients in matters involving product liability, property damage, and third-party liability stemming from motor vehicle accidents and premises claims. He has successfully represented a broad spectrum of clients—from product designers to public entities and common carriers—with a focus on all aspects of litigation, including case assessment, risk management, and trial.

James also has a strong background in business and commercial litigation, handling cases involving breach of contract, business torts, fraud, and unfair competition. His ability to synthesize complex legal and factual issues into clear, persuasive arguments makes him a trusted advisor and advocate for corporate clients navigating litigation across diverse industries.

James earned his Juris Doctor from Chapman University Fowler School of Law, where he developed a foundation in litigation through focused coursework and trial advocacy. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of California, Santa Barbara. James is also a community outreach chair for the Orange County Bar Association Young Lawyer’s Division. 

Outside of the office, James enjoys cycling, Angels baseball, off-roading, attending car shows, and spending time with his family.
